Hong Kong pushes tokenized settlement to 24/7 and plans stablecoin trials
Hong Kong's Monetary Authority is moving tokenized settlement to round-the-clock operation and plans to bring regulated stablecoins into trials involving tokenized government debt. HSBC separately said its RedCoin stablecoin has reached 50,000 users. The steps signal deepening institutional adoption of tokenized assets and regulated stablecoins in a major financial hub, a supportive backdrop for crypto infrastructure and stablecoin-related tokens.
