Buying the Epileptic token takes about five minutes and three things: a Solana wallet, some SOL, and the right contract address. The last one matters most. The ticker is two emoji squares, π₯π©, and anyone can make a token with the same two squares. The contract address is the only thing a copy cannot fake.
If you want to know what you are buying first, read what the Epileptic coin is and how its holders took it back. This page is about how.
The one address to use: HwPtbFpd3VTe3tfyosoVtPf9WPuSk5gAKkN5xp6Npump. It is printed in the footer of every page of this site and on the project's X account, @Epileptic_CULT. Copy it from there, never from a reply, a DM or an ad.
What do you need before you buy?
| You need | Why | Common choice |
|---|---|---|
| A Solana wallet | The token lives on Solana; an Ethereum wallet cannot hold it | Phantom or Solflare, app or browser extension |
| SOL | You pay for the token in SOL, and network fees too | Bought inside the wallet, or sent from an exchange |
| The contract address | To be sure you buy π₯π© and not a copy | The footer of this site |
How do you buy the Epileptic token, step by step?
- Install a Solana wallet. Phantom and Solflare both work, on a phone or as a browser extension. Write the recovery phrase on paper and keep it offline. Nobody legitimate will ever ask you for it, including us.
- Get SOL into it. Either buy SOL inside the wallet with a card, or buy it on an exchange and withdraw to your wallet's Solana address. Keep a little extra, about 0.01 SOL, for fees.
- Open a swap. Inside Phantom, use its Swap tab. On the web, open Jupiter with π₯π© already selected and connect your wallet there.
- Paste the contract address, not the ticker. In the token search, paste
HwPtbFpd3VTe3tfyosoVtPf9WPuSk5gAKkN5xp6Npump. The result should show π₯π© with the address ending in "Npump". If the wallet warns that a token is unverified, check the address character by character; that is the check that counts. - Choose the amount and check the price impact. The swap screen shows how much the trade itself moves the price. On a small pool that number matters; see the table below.
- Set slippage sensibly. Around 1% is enough for small amounts. Very high slippage lets a front-running bot take the difference.
- Confirm and check. Approve the swap in your wallet. The π₯π© balance appears in a few seconds; you can see the transaction on Solscan.
What does it cost to buy, and to sell later?
The network fee on Solana is a fraction of a cent. The real costs are the pool's fee and price impact, and they apply again when you sell. Liquidity is $72K today, which is thin, so size matters:
| Trade size | Price impact | Pool fee |
|---|---|---|
| $100 | about 0.5% | 0.25% |
| $1,000 | about 2.1% | 0.25% |
| $10,000 | about 15.4% | 0.25% |
Sell quotes from Jupiter, routed through the Raydium pool, 28 October 2026. Buying costs about the same in the other direction. Live figures: the rug check for π₯π©.
Read the bottom row before buying a large amount: on a pool this size, getting out of a big position costs a big share of it. Splitting a large trade over time is cheaper than one swap.
How do you avoid buying a fake Epileptic token?
Copies of emoji tickers are easy to make, because the squares are ordinary characters; the emoji ticker guide shows what they look like in a search. Three habits stop almost all of them:
- Match the full address, not the first and last few characters. Scam tokens are generated to share both.
- Check the holder count. The real token has 16,788 holders. A copy has a few dozen.
- Ignore anyone who contacts you with a link, a "presale", a "migration" or an airdrop to claim. The token is not migrating and nobody is selling it at a discount in DMs.
What should you know before you buy?
The contract is clean: nobody can mint new tokens, freeze wallets or pull the pool, and you can check each of those on the token's rug check. That rules out the technical ways to lose your money, not the ordinary one. π₯π© is a small meme coin run by its community, with a market cap of $290K, no treasury and nothing that pays holders anything. Its price depends on attention, and it can fall a long way.
The live price, chart and holder list are on the Epileptic token page. The story of the people behind it, including the month its first leaders walked away, is on the Cult-Story timeline.
Questions people ask
Where can I buy the Epileptic coin?
On Solana decentralised exchanges: through the Jupiter aggregator or directly in its Raydium pool, from any Solana wallet. We know of no centralised exchange listing as of October 2026, so an "Epileptic" market on an exchange website is not this token unless its contract address matches.
What is the Epileptic token contract address?
The mint address is HwPtbFpd3VTe3tfyosoVtPf9WPuSk5gAKkN5xp6Npump on Solana. It ends in "Npump" because the token was launched on pump.fun. Any other address is a different token.
Can I buy Epileptic with a card?
Not directly. Buy SOL first, with a card inside your wallet or on an exchange, then swap the SOL for π₯π©. Card purchases of SOL carry the provider's fee, which is usually far larger than the swap itself.
How much does a swap cost?
The Solana network fee is a fraction of a cent. The Raydium pool charges 0.25% of the trade, and the price impact depends on size: about 0.5% for $100 and 2% for $1,000 when we checked on 28 October 2026.
Is the Epileptic token a good investment?
We do not give investment advice, and this is the project's own site. It is a small, thinly traded meme coin; only buy what you can afford to lose completely.
