Samsung and Stripe bring USDC to 82M phones via Samsung Pay funding

Samsung is partnering with Stripe to bring USDC stablecoin support to roughly 82 million phones, with Samsung Pay, cards and ACH used to fund the account. New York is excluded and fees vary by transaction. A distribution deal of this size puts a regulated stablecoin in front of a mass consumer base, which traders may read as a meaningful step toward mainstream payments adoption.
