Bitcoin ETFs bled in 7 of 8 selloffs, undercutting Wall Street support thesis
A DWF Labs report shared with CryptoSlate found that US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows during seven of the eight major selloffs of at least 15% since their January 2024 launch. The funds did attract inflows during rallies, but they failed to provide the price support many expected from Wall Street investors. For traders, this suggests ETF flows are momentum-following rather than a reliable dip-buying cushion, which could mean sharper drawdowns when sentiment turns.
