Standard Chartered launches crypto custody in Luxembourg and DIFC with LMAX mandate
Standard Chartered said it now offers digital-asset custody through its Luxembourg entity and its Dubai branch in the DIFC, with LMAX as a client mandate spanning both. A separate collateral link would let clients trade against tokens held in the bank's custody. The move expands institutional-grade custody and collateral infrastructure, a step toward letting large clients use crypto holdings in trading without moving them off-bank.
