Hyperliquid details Payward bid to launch first CFTC-regulated HIP-3 markets

Hyperliquid outlined a plan by Payward, the parent company of Kraken, to become the first CFTC-regulated deployer of HIP-3 markets, aiming to offer onchain perpetual futures to US clients through Bitnomial. The proposal is subject to regulatory approval, and Hyperliquid detailed it in an Oct. 26 post on X. A regulated US perpetuals venue would be a significant expansion of onchain derivatives access for American traders and a validation of Hyperliquid's HIP-3 framework.
